This project will serve the internal power regulation and energy management of a technology enterprise in Taiwan, helping users improve their electricity autonomy, reduce energy costs, and enhance the flexibility of power grid interaction.
The core highlight of the project lies in its "network building" function.
This system not only has the charging and discharging capabilities of conventional energy storage devices, but also actively adjusts voltage and frequency, supports weak or isolated grid operation, and provides grid support capabilities close to synchronous generator sets for the factory area. This technology is a cutting-edge application in the international energy storage market, and this export to Taiwan is also the first landing of grid type energy storage equipment outside of mainland China.
Against the backdrop of accelerating global energy transition, the demand for large-scale long-term energy storage is growing day by day. Vanadium flow batteries are particularly suitable for energy storage applications in industrial and commercial sectors due to their long lifespan, high safety, and flexible capacity expansion.
The successful delivery of this project of Beijing Green Vanadium not only achieved a "zero breakthrough" in the export of all vanadium liquid flow batteries in Chinese Mainland in MW level projects, but also laid a solid foundation for the subsequent expansion of domestic and foreign markets.
Green Vanadium Company has long focused on the research and industrialization of all vanadium flow battery energy storage technology, and has independent core technologies in system integration, electrolyte preparation, intelligent operation and maintenance.
The company's products have been widely used in various scenarios such as wind and solar energy storage, power grid peak shaving, and industrial and commercial energy storage. Green Vanadium will continue to work with global partners to promote the large-scale application of flow battery energy storage in more regions, providing key technical support for building a safe, flexible, and clean modern energy system.
