Japanese Academy of Engineering foreign academician: Vanadium flow battery and other long-term energ

According to the global flow battery network, on May 13, the fourth Shandong Talent Innovation and Development Conference and the 14th "Sea Cooperation Conference" parallel forum -- "gathering momentum and talking about agriculture, rural areas and farmers" modern agricultural development forum was held in Jinan. At the forum, Professor of Saitama University of Technology and foreign academite of the Japanese Academy of Engineering made a keynote report on "the Role and development trend of integration of light storage in modern agricultural production facilities". Focusing on the problems of high energy cost in facility agriculture, strong requirements for energy supply stability, and urgent green and low-carbon transformation, he proposed to deeply integrate photovoltaic power generation and energy storage technology. A new path to provide stable, low-cost and sustainable energy support for modern agricultural facilities.

According to the global Flow Battery network, on May 13, Yihe Green Motor and the People's Government of Muding County, Yunnan Province officially signed an investment cooperation agreement. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of all-vanadium flow energy storage power station, virtual power plant operation platform, zero carbon park construction and so on. Mr. Li Yongjun, Deputy Secretary and Head of the County Party Committee of Muping County; Mr. Tian Bo, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Executive Deputy Head of the County Party Committee; Mr. Li Xiaohong, member of the Leading Party Group of the County Government and executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Yunnan Muping Industrial Park; and heads of relevant departments of the county; Liu Hao, general manager of Yihe Green Movement, and relevant responsible persons of the enterprise attended the signing ceremony. Tian Bo and Liu Hao signed the agreement on behalf of both parties respectively.

Another enterprise has released 12-inch silicon carbide crystals.

Recently, Zhongtian Jingke announced that following the successful production of 8-inch silicon carbide crystals, the company has now mastered the technology for growing 12-inch silicon carbide single crystals. In October 2022, the company's first 8-inch silicon carbide crystal was successfully produced; three years later, in March 2025, the first 12-inch silicon carbide crystal was also successfully grown and officially announced in May 2026.
