Since the fourth quarter of 2025, the company has achieved profitability for three consecutive quarters.

In the polysilicon business, OCI Holding has established a solar energy supply chain centered in the United States by leveraging its polysilicon production base in Malaysia and its silicon wafer manufacturing base in Vietnam.

It is reported that the company recently signed a long-term supply agreement (LTA) with a new American client, and its current 35,000-ton polysilicon production capacity has been fully utilized and sold out.

Meanwhile, the company plans to increase its polysilicon production capacity from the current 35,000 tons per year to 70,000 tons per year by 2029. This is mainly to cope with the continuous growth in solar energy demand resulting from the rapid development of AI infrastructure in the United States.

In April of the previous year, there were reports in South Korean media stating that OCI Malaysia Company and SpaceX were in discussions regarding a polysilicon supply contract.

In the silicon wafer business, NEOSILICON, which is indirectly held by OCI, also plans to increase its silicon wafer production capacity to 11.5 GW by 2029.

In October 2025, OCI Holding announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary OCI TerraSua had acquired a 65% stake in the 2.7GW silicon wafer factory built by Elite Solar Power Wafer Co. Ltd (Boda New Energy) in Vietnam.

The announcement at that time indicated that the total investment for this factory reached 120 million US dollars, with OCI ONE's equity investment corresponding to 78 million US dollars. If an additional 40 million US dollars is invested, the factory will expand its production capacity to 5.4 GW within six months. Meanwhile, OCI stated that the polysilicon materials used in this silicon wafer factory will be fully supplied by OCI TerraSua.

This time, OCI disclosed that the silicon wafer factory has also recently signed a long-term supply agreement, and is expected to start supplying products to new American customers from next year.
